Looking for a new e-mail address?

Submitted by: martin on Tuesday September 05th, 2006 at 11:19 AM EST

Let's face it, whether you attempt using Hotmail, Yahoo, GMail, or even AOL, all the good usernames are taken. That perfect e-mail address you want, simply is unavailable, unless you don't mind adding a lame number to it. This is where Inbox.com comes in.

Inbox.com offers free e-mail, giving a generous 5 gigs (for U.S. and Canada users), no ads, and no tags at the end of outgoing messages. And the kicker... Inbox.com isn't well known, thus increasing the chances that the username you want is available!

Also nice about Inbox.com's e-mail is the ability to change the color scheme and skins. Testing Inbox.com throughout the week, I have found it to be reliable and easy to use. Users also have the option to view multiple messages between a fellow user in "conversation mode," much similiar to what GMail offers.

Inbox.com is solid. It's fast and easy to use. Personally, GMail is still my favorite e-mail service, with Inbox.com at number two. I like Yahoo's beta e-mail, except for the fact that it is super slow on Mozilla's Firefox browswer.
